CrossFit is a fitness program that produces measurable outcomes through lifestyle changes, centered on training and nutrition. Workouts consist of constantly varied, high-intensity, functional movements.
A sport in which athletes compete in lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead, with the aim of successfully lifting the heaviest weights. The two primary events in this sport are the snatch and the clean and jerk.
CrossFit Kids teaches foundational movement patterns, providing children with a portion of their prescribed amount of exercise for the week, improving muscular fitness, engineering endless opportunities for success, and discussing roles for food while keeping the class and its information fun and engaging. As an infinitely scalable program, CrossFit Kids can also bring the benefits of physical activity to disadvantaged populations.
A sport in which the objective is to move the most weight possible across a variety of competition events. Events may include farmer carry, atlas stones, keg tosses, sandbag work, and many more.
